S.A.L.P. S.p.A., a modern Company careful about innovation and H&S of its main asset - the personnel - intended to implement a System of H&S Management to add value to its activity paying huge attention to the problems related to the Safety of Employees within the course of an organic integrated management system. Such considerations took the Company to identify the norm OHSAS18001 as a referring model for the certification of its own Safety Management System (S.M.S.). In this view S.A.L.P. S.p.A. has defined the following goals: - To operate always in respect of the laws, rules and norms for the safeguard of the Health and Safety of its employees; - To increase the efficiency of the whole organization for a significant improvement of the management of the activities which may have an impact on the Health and Safety of the employees; - To diffuse the culture of Safety by a permanent process of training, involvement and responsabilization of the personnel; - To define plans to reduce incident and accidents at work; - To periodically check and verify the implementation of the S.M.S. paying particular attention to : - The conformity of the goals and the defined plans; - The examination and analysis of reported Non Conformances; - To sensitize the suppliers and subcontractors about the problems related to H&S in view to continuously improve their performance on the matter; - Promote the prohibition of the use of drugs and alcohol during working time to avoid risks for the user and also for the fellows co-workers and colleagues.

In this view S.A.L.P. S.p.A. fixed the following goals : - Always operate in respect and conformance of laws, rules and norms issued for the protection of environment , of the territory and for the energy saving; this behaviour is applicable to products, processes end services provided by the Company ; - To define and promote plans for energy and natural resources saving according to the goals established by the top Management ; - To chose as much as possible the recycling and reuse of materials utilized in its production processes; - To verify periodically the actual application of its Environment Management System, concerning : - Conformity of the fixed goals and plans - Examination of Non-Conformance reports - Promote personnel training programs and sensitization - Sensitize suppliers and subcontractors to indentify products and services in line with the Company Policy for the environment safeguard and energy saving.
